Time for a Run...

Unusually early I am sitting waiting to run my first half marathon of the year. I love this distance, it is a challenge, but does not consume my life leading up to it and not too high a threat of injury if I keep my fitness good inbetween races.

My fun running has taken me all over the globe, one of the reasons I am so pationate about finding positions for people overseas. Seeing what the world has to offer is enlightening.

Living in two continents has helped me run in Australia, New Zealand, England and Scotland on many ocassions. The trickiest run I had was going from snow and minus 15degrees in Scotland to running in plus 38 degrees 48 hours later.

Other hot places I have ran in include Thailand, Cambodia, Borneo, Panang, Hong Kong, Cayman Islands and Malaysia.

Oops better go, got a half marathon to run...

Which countries have you ran in?

The Last Week...

Wow what a week and a half I have had! It was a crazy as predicted with moving down through England and accross to the Channel Islands.

I attended a very successful bowling night with the accountancy students in Leeds.

The next day I visited the Chartered Accountants Hall in London which we are going to use for Accountancy Worldwide Recruitment Forum in June 2010.

Over the two weekends I managed to run a half marathon and a 10k - at opposite ends of the UK!

In the middle I visited a number of companies seeking new accountants to join them in Guernsey and Jersey. The weather was lovely in the Channel Islands and it was a very pleasant trip.

Back in the office today and we have had acceptances for offers for accountants to move to Switzerland, The Channel Islands, Scotland and Ireland. Lots of new vacancies in based across the UK, Europe, Channel Islands, Australia, New Zealand and Bermuda. Its going to be a busy week again... which is exactly what we like.
